Wow, this week has whizzed by! In many ways, I am glad it has, but it also means that October is going way too quickly and before I know it NaNoWriMo will be here, and I am not quite ready yet!
I have had a very hectic week but have still managed to have found four fantastic posts for you to enjoy; all of them very different but very appealing in their own ways.
From This Day Forward This was a lovely post about memories associated with one thing in particular that many of us take for granted.
Tea and Paper Now I love a tutorial.. especially as there are so many things that I cannot do. As soon as I am feeling better I am going to check this one out as I have an account for ages and never used it.
Jen’s Pen Den More good advice. I like it when I am shown examples of things so that I can see how it is put into practice and Jen does just that. I think this is going to be very useful to me.
Smorgasbord – Variety is The Spice of Life I love Sally’s short stories, and this new series that she has recently started is brilliant. She draws you right into the story and has you wanting more!
Please take the time to visit all of these blogs if you haven’t already done so. I promise you will not be disappointed.
Happy Friday!!
I went to This Day Forward. Lovely post about her childhood house. Thanks for the recommend.

Great choices as usual. I particularly like ‘Jen’s Pen Den’ – lots to think about in that one – brilliant examples.

So kind of you to feature other blogs Edwina. I know Sally but not the others, so thanks for the links! I had hoped to take part in NaNoWriMo this year but if I do I’ll never get the edits done on my memoir…let’s see! That’s wonderful that you will be taking part, I wish you every success with it. I’m still slow with keeping up with blogging, but so appreciate your visits to the summerhouse! Have a wonderful weekend and see you soon! 🙂

Thanks so much for your kind wishes with NaNoWriMo Sherri. I really wanted to set myself a huge challenge, although it may be a little over-ambitious! I like visiting the summerhouse and also love it when you come here for a visit. 🙂

Go for it if it feels right Edwina, that’s my only advice, even if feels over-ambitious…but if you don’t, well, then, like with me, there’s always next year 😉

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
