I decided that I had to still take part in Ronovan’s weekly Haiku challenge despite trying to participate in NaNoWriMo as I would get withdrawal symptoms otherwise!
The prompt words actually gave me a hard time this week!
Anyway, here is what I made of it:
My mind is tortured;
Crashing, swirling thoughts break through;
A Haiku is born

That turned out to be brilliant Haiku. It is so crisp, it belies the effort that went into it. And it seems to me you have the two opposite sentiments in your two sentences.

I know what it feels like when you have several blogs running through your mind at once. It really can feel like a crashing and swirling of thoughts. Thanks for hanging in with the blog hop. What would we do without haiku blog hops. 🙂

You came up with the perfect Haiku Edwina! I find writing weekly 99 word flash fiction gives me a good distraction when I come up for air from all the revisions on my memoir. Talk about crash and burn…it’s not easy! And I am thinking of you with NaNoWriMo hoping you’re getting your words down. Keep going, you’re doing great!
