As I may have mentioned, I became a very proud great-aunty on Sunday to the beautiful little Molly that I wrote about for Ronovan’s Haiku Challenge this week showing her scan picture.
Well, this is the little beauty now at just 4 days old! We have not had a baby in our family since I had Miss Hap which was 12 years ago, so needless to say, we are all very thrilled and excited to have a new addition to the family.
I was off this Wednesday, so nipped down to see the proud new parents and little Molly. I’d forgotten just how gorgeous baby cuddles are, even if Molly wasn’t that impressed!
Oh, my, what a precious little cutie!

Aw bless! I remember when one of ours was born, overhearing the nurses talking about “taking their lunch hour to go and hug the crack babies”. Both beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. More baby hugs would save us all!

If only the feel and smell of new babies could be bottled, there would be a lot more smiling people in this world.
Absolutely gorgeous. You don’t look too bad yourself. ❤ ❤ ❤ Of course baby is #1 rock star right now.

Sleepless nights ahead…but not for you (unless you babysit).

Yes, little Molly has got a powerful set of lungs on her so there will be a few sleepless nights for her parents. I shall babysit when she sleeps through!!! HA! 🙂

Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
