We have got some great words to work with again this week from Ronovan for his weekly Haiku challenge.
This is what I have managed to come up with this week.
I guide my sweet peas;
I’m hoping they’re bountiful
I’m mad as they’re sparse!

Firstly. congratulations and Happy Anniversary to the weekly haiku challenge set up by Ronovan.
I have really started getting into these and always look forward to Wednesdays! We have ‘silent’ and ‘loud’ this week. There were several ways I could have gone with it but I settled on this in the end!
Any likeness to Mr Grump is purely deliberate!!
You sit in silence:
your expression speaks volumes
which is LOUD and clear!
It is time for the wonderful weekly haiku challenge as set by Ronovan. The words we have to use are ‘future’ and ‘give’.
Here is my take for this week.
“Give me some silver;
Let me tell you your future.
Oooh, you are naughty!”
This week Ronovan has come up with some more challenging words for his weekly haiku prompt and has given us ‘gain’ and ‘hound,’ Tricky!
Here is my take on it.
You hound those birdies
When they drop some tasty crumbs
Their loss is your gain!
Oooh that naughty Ronovan has given us some tough words to use in his weekly haiku challenge this week. We have got ‘lock’ and ‘gab’ to make something out of!
Here is my take on it
The gift of the gab;
flattery and promises.
Put a lock on it!
Today’s challenge by Ronovan is to include the words ‘inspire’ and ‘loss’.
This immediately made me think of my dad.
This is my attempt.
Dad, I mourn your loss
You will always inspire me
to be just like you.

Oh I do love Mondays when I can get to have a go at Ronovan’s weekly Haiku Challenge. He has, however, given us some really tricky words to use this week, with ‘bard’ and ‘water.’ I do love a challenge though and have had a go.
Nature’s bright colours:
A trickling waterfall hides
– Bard’s inspiration.
Today we have the words ‘think’ and fresh’ to use in our Haiku set by Ronovan for his weekly challenge.
Seeing as I am always thinking about food, here is my attempt for this week:
For my Sunday roast
I think tender leg of lamb
with fresh rosemary.
It is that time again when Ronovan sets us the week’s Haiku challenge. The words that we are to use this week are ‘pitch’ and ‘time’. I shall try not to lower the tone this time!
Here is my attempt:
Early Risers.
It is 4am:
Time for the starlings to sing
Their pitch is too high!

Its time for Ronovan’s weekly haiku challenge again and the words to incorporate this time are ‘charge’ and ‘lovers’. I like the sound of these!
Here is my attempt.
Love For Hire
“How much do you charge,
I’m in need of a lover?
Please say you are cheap! ”
