Welcome To Edwina’s Episodes.
Come and relax with me as we take a look at the lighter side of life. Anything from discovering under-used ‘Wacky Words’ which I highlight on a Wednesday, to anecdotes about family life, little poems or rhymes about anything that takes my fancy, or even a bit of raunchiness on ‘Tidbit Tuesday.’ I have lots more goodies which I hope you will enjoy, and you might even leave with a smile.
Wow, a new blog theme!

Yes, I was playing around with themes last night and changed it thinking it was just a demo but it wasn’t! I have decided now to change it to this one anyway π

I like it. I like the colors… very female and soft and they are going along well with your profile pic. Last year around that time I was playing around too until I accidentially changed my theme too (I also thought it was only a demo). And then I did not know what my original theme was… oh my God, I got completely nervous because I did not want the one I checked out… lol!

Yes that was what I did, and I lost my pictures from the posts as well! It has taken me all day on and off to sort it out. Glad you like it π

OMG! That sounds even worse than what I did! This computer stuff sometimes can drive you insane!
Yes, Judy, I like it π

I just called in to say hello, and to thank you for all the comments you add to my website. I loved the support you always give me, especially when I was choosing a cover for my second book. It’s now published on Amazon and received six 5***** reviews in a couple of weeks, so I’m pleased with that. You’ve done a great job with this new look website. I’ll have to now take a tour. Thanks again!

You both sound like, and look like a very fun person to know! Laughter is so therapeutic–great for treating hypochondria (I know!).

HA! A fellow hypochondriac, we had better not compare ailments or we will be here all day!
Yes, I find that laughter goes a long way to help soothe life’s little bumps and bruises we pick up along the way. π

Yes, we’d best not do comparison lists! Though, I guess it’s not really hypochondria if the issues are real–like chronic pain…arrgghh! But a good laugh diminishes the level of pain greatly π It’s SO nice to meet you!!

Hi there. I’ve been looking at your book on Amazon, it looks so good. I’d like to buy a copy as as gift for someone who does not use an e reader. Will you be publishing as a paperback? X

Hi, your link took me to Amazon.com, no good for the UK. Then I had the bright idea of amending the link in the browser bar to http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rhymes-Times-lighthearted-through-rhyme/dp/1530270634/ and yipeee it worked.
However, if I go to amazon.co.uk and look it up, only the ebook comes up. You might like to investigate. Meanwhile, I shall place an order. X

Hello Edwina, I hate to be a stick in the mud but it is difficult to navigate your blog from my phone or tablet. I use both of these more than I use a laptop. I usually go directly to your blog and I always land on this page. The top navigation links do not show up unless I’m on a laptop or desktop computer. I have missed quite a few of your blog posts as a result. Perhaps if you would add a link to your latest blog posts, it would be easy, at least for me, to keep up with your work? I have quite a few blogs to catch up with and it helps if the process is straightforward. Thank you so much.

Hi, and thanks so much for pointing this out to me. I have gone to my blog on my phone and also looked at it in customise to try and work out how to sort it out.
When I go use my phone to get to my blog I end up on my home page but there is a black menu bar right across the centre. When I click on that and scroll up it brings up the different sections where and you can click on Latest Blog Posts from there. Can you please let me know if that works for you?

Thanks for your response. I apologise for calling you Edwina, Judy. I really am. I see the menu now that you mention it. Thank you for pointing it out. As you can imagine it’s difficult to intuit that there’s a menu is at the top. I’d normally scroll to the lower end of the page to find arrows. Also I like to browse when I’m just waking up so definitely with unfocused eyes. Thanks for your patience.

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
