On the way back home at 6.30 this morning from dropping my daughter off for her school trip today when it was decided we needed some petrol for the car, Mr Grump says,
“You’ll have to get out the car to fuel-up, as I have got my slippers on”!
As it happens, none of us got out the car; we hadn’t brought any money or even a card with us!

I hate running low on fuel….It makes me so nervous, and my family gets a kick out of it! I guess that’s what family is for, right? 😉

Oh yes, that’s what families are for! I always worry that I will be left stranded somewhere miles away!

I have ran into the store to pick something up on a whim and realized the same thing – no money – no card!! EEK!! LOL

Appropriate timing, just had to turn round on way to daughters swimming lesson as the fuel reading hit zero miles and I never take money out. Damn! Just managed to limp home

We did manage to get home ok as we were not too far away, but I always worry that the car will conk out on the middle of a roundabout or something!

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
