So here we are, sadly at the end of this amazing Blogging From A-Z Challenge. I have really enjoyed it, made some new blogging friends and played with some fantastic words! To our final letter then which is the lovely zig-zaggy litter ‘Z’. Now I was gong to have a little cheat here and use ‘zaftig’ kindly donated to me by the lovely Wendy. However, it was not a word I was familiar with although it perfectly describes me (woman with a rounded figure) I might do something on it at a later date. So the word I did choose is another one that I love the sound of…………
Zingy.Β This is a great sounding word, it is vital and vivacious, alert and ready to take on the day ahead. It is enthusiastic, and energetic, zealous and zesty. This is the feeling you have after a great night’s sleep followed by a refreshing shower; it is bouncy and buoyant, animated and activated. Feeling on top form, dynamic and ebullient, nothing can get you down.
I wanted to end on a high note so have pulled out all the stops to make this word sound as happy and bright as it should be. I am exhausted now!
PRETTY DARN ZINGY. Sad I will miss it too but Zingy is a good way to end it

‘Zingy’ is new one on me. I would have thought it was more to do with how a fruit drink tasted, but I was never good with the English language at school.
Well done on completing the challenge, Edwina. It has been very entertaining reading your posts.

That’s funny because I thought that is was something to do with fruit too! You know that face you pull when it is a little sharp!
I am glad you have enjoyed the challenge, I have had great fun with it too π

I know the one. I love eating those fizzy sweets which make you pull a face like that as soon as they touch your tongue.

Another challenge down … Hey thanks for the mention… Zaftig is a word we need to get back into common usage… Give it some cred, Judy… You’re the blog queen … Now I know I won’t be posting every day, but I’m gonna try to be more consistent… I haven’t even noticed if there’s a road trip / follow up planned. Prolly should do that. What’s your next challenge? Or are you already midway through others already?

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
