The words this week for Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Challenge are ‘think’ and ‘free.’ I thought I would use a pic of myself, older sister and niece dressed up in 70s gear for my sister’s 50th Birthday a few years ago.
Silliness is free:
Dressing up for a party
thinking we look great!

Hehe… yes, it is much more fun to be silly!!!! Yeah for silliness!!!

Great words, and so pleased to read a funny, humorous, haiku.
Keep on partying, keep on being silly, keep on having a great time, Judy.

We do indeed, only I seem to need a lot more these days – or maybe it’s just the way I am. Whatever, I’m not complaining.

The world would be a much happier place if we were all a little less serious. Great haiku! 🙂

Yes it was a great night as everyone dressed up and we had a brilliant DJ too called ‘Reggae Roy’ although he does of course play other stuff as well! 🙂

My favorite haiku so far, Judy! It is so much fun and freeing to be silly. We should all let our Ids run free from time to time. 😉

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
