We have been given the prompt words of ‘colour’ and ‘cover’ for Ron’s Weekly Haiku Challenge this week which gives plenty of scope for a nature Haiku,
Here is my attempt:
Early morning sky:
Dull, covered by murky grey.
Orange brings colour.

We are exhausted, but I tamed the chaos and we are pretty well unpacked. Now, we are adjusting to the differences in temperature, altitude, and dryness. We are very happy here and the house is everything we wanted. ❤ Hope you are well with your new job. I have so much catching up to do! 😀 ❤

Oh I am so thrilled for you, I am sure you will soon get used to the changes, and of course it is all worth it to get the house you wanted. I wish you many happy years there 🙂

Beautiful haiku, Judy! I love it that you went the nature route. I love nature haiku but somehow I have a hard time writing those. I think I need to get out more. I do love nature. 🙂

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
