Today our task for Photography 101 is to take a photo of a landscape. This could be something in nature, industrial or perhaps a city scene. We are also to practice cropping photos as well to see what works and what doesn’t.
The photo I took today is of the office buildings where I work. Although I am out and about most of the day, I also spend time at the office, sorting out paperwork and other bits and pieces.
It just so happens that the offices are within a few minutes walking distance to me, and most of the time I drive past there anyway, on the way to town! I think they stand out quite a bit as they are very modern, and are very light and bright.
It is hard to believe that just behind there is some beautiful countryside, and it is a favourite walking spot for Roxy and Mr. Grump.
Mostly such giants are put in the middle of the landscape. I can imagine that there are beautiful places around it. What a gorgeous weather!

Wonderful! It was rainy over here all day but is supposed to be sunny tomorrow! Hopefully, because I need to get my garden done!

I just went there! When I read your last posts I was at your old page. But now I could see the whole new outfit. It doesn’t look like a WP site but is it?

Yes it is a wordpress.org theme. 🙂

It is beautiful! I like it a lot more. I was just confused because it doesn’t show that bar on top with stats, comments and stuff! But now I know! I absolutely love the look of the site! So shiny and fresh! How long did you work on it until you released it now?

I have been at it for only a few days, but I have been at work all day today so have got behind with everything. I really wanted to brighten everything up a bit! 🙂

And you did that successfully! The yellow color is like a smile that welcomes you and goes very well along with your book cover of course! I experimented with themes a year ago. But I could not check things out without always having that theme up already while testing. How could you test in the background? Did you kind of create a “new” page?

Yes, at first I had to start right from the beginning as I lost everything. Then I realised that I had to migrate everything over. That helped a lot, except for no like button and no followers!

Yes, right! Do you know why you cannot have that like and follow button? These are all things which could drive me nuts to find out when creating something new. Perhaps that is why I missed that one post. I always got notified about new posts of yours.

I am sorry about that but at the same time I am glad that I am not the only one dealing with such issues! At least we got that formatting thingy done for our books… lol! Oh, btw. I had my book in hands two days ago. My sister is here for a visit and she brought it a long for me to sign…. yay! I am so happy how perfectly it turned out. It was worth every drop of sweat! Haha!

Oh I am so pleased you finally got to touch and hold your book. It is funny as I signed one for my sister yesterday, and she wanted me to writer her a rhyme in it too!
I have got the followers back and think now there is a like button on there?

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
