My head is all in a muddle
I really don’t know what to do
I have to make a huge decision
Whether or not to leave the EU
The has been such a lot of scaremongering
From parties on both sides of the fence
If we leave, we’ll be destitute
Other countries will probably take offence
We’ve been told it will cause a recession
And Britain will go into the red
There will be thousands of job losses
Oh, this stuff is hurting my head!
What happens if we stay in then?
Will Britain still be as strong?
What about health and immigration?
What happens it all goes so wrong?
This is a momentous occasion
That I have thought very seriously about
The European Union Referendum
Should we stay in or should we get out?!
Nice job, and it does seem like an interesting choice… not one that I’d be comfortable making. The world will be watching this vote.

If there weren’t pros and cons for each choice it wouldn’t be such a hard choice. And the fear-mongering only makes it worse. Good luck with the choice, Judy.

Very interesting situation. I like the romantic value of remaining in the EU, but then there’s so much more to consider. Well expressed Judy.

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
