#Sillysaturday Maggie the Pole Dancer Raunchier Version — December 30, 2017

#Sillysaturday Maggie the Pole Dancer Raunchier Version

I decided to repost some of the #Sillysaturday posts that I did with Sandra to this blog in case you missed them on my Edwina’s Episodes blog that is no more ūüė¶

I have teamed up again with the talented Sandra (or Daffy as I like to call her), from Wild Daffodil  to bring you another bit of silliness this Saturday.  Sandra is incredibly artistic and creative, and I just love the images she has created out of shells, stones and flowers.

One of the nicest things about Sandra‚Äôs blog is that you never know what she is going to get up to next, from beach art to knitted wigs, and mandalas to making spirals in her garden.

Here is our little story for this week about a Pole Dancer, but this version is a little raunchier.

The feel of the pole between my thighs

Is rather a pleasant surprise

It doesn’t feel daft

Sliding around on the shaft

You can tell by the look in my eyes.

My customers, I just aim to please

As I twirl and perform a striptease

I am truly delighted

To get you excited

Your desires I long to appease

To make me feel like a star

Stuff a wad of cash in my bra

Have a grope of my nips

As you leave me some tips

And buy me a drink at the bar!

Free For All Friday

Free for all Friday

Well, here we are with another week having whizzed past and the end of January approaching at breakneck speed!

I have had quite a busy week, all in all, but have still found some great posts to share with you. As always, please go and visit these blogs if you haven’t already, and have a good old rummage around!

Kyrosmagica Marje had me in stitches with this post. I am sure you will love it too.

Ronovan¬†Writes¬†This was a very helpful and informative post. Ronovan¬†shares some hints and tips with us on good writing. He is a real fountain of knowledge and a great help and support to other writers and bloggers as well. He also manages to find time to host his ‘Flash Fiction Fridays’ and also his ‘Weekly Haiku Prompt’ which is personally one of my favourite challenges!

Terri Webster Schrandt Some more useful tips for bloggers struggling to find inspiration.

So there you have my short and sweet nibbles for this week. Enjoy!

Happy Friday!

#Free-For-All Friday #27 — September 4, 2015

#Free-For-All Friday #27

It’s Friday already and have I got some treats lined up for you this week! There is some very good blogging advice, brilliant short stories, tips for writers, as well as a heart-wrenching post that I hope will make you think.

All of these bloggers are extremely talented and have lots more on their blogs to offer, so please go for a visit and have a poke around, I am sure they won’t mind!

Yadadarcyyada I like the take on blogging here. Some very good tips and advice written in a very light-hearted and entertaining style.

SachaBlack¬†Poor old Sacha is just itching to get her hands on her manuscript! Find out why she can’t yet, and what she is doing to distract herself.

How the Cookie Crumbles. Tess is back, and not only that she has written another one of her brilliant short stories. She has been missed.

Silver Threading Colleen has been doing a bit of housekeeping, and she passes on some advice here. I am thrilled to see that she has mentioned two other blogs which I also read, that also gave wonderful advice.

Belinda Crane I have not been following this blog for very long, but I am so glad I found her (Thanks Hugh). This is a great story with an unexpected twist.

A Mommas View If you have not read this post yet, please do. That is all I want to say about this for now.

So I have a veritable feast for you this week which should keep you going for a while. Enjoy!

Happy Friday!

The Daydreamer Challenge: Day 4: Blogging Tips — April 9, 2015

The Daydreamer Challenge: Day 4: Blogging Tips

Caitlin has set us quite a tricky challenge for today in the Daydreamer’s Challenge. We are to give any blogging tips that we have learned that has either made us want to follow another blogger, or has helped us to gain followers. I am still reasonably new to blogging, and am really rubbish at the technical side of things but here are my thoughts based on my personal experience and opinions.

  • Always take time to reply to comments. I know this is obvious, but if someone has taken the trouble to comment on something that you have written that strikes a chord with them, then they deserve the courtesy of a reply. Similarly, if you read something on someone’s blog that you can relate to in some way, then try and leave a comment for them. We all like to know that someone is reading what we write, and getting comments is a wonderful way to interact with each other.
  • Enrol on a ‘Blogging 101’ course or the writing or photography course, whichever one appeals to you, This really helped me to learn some of the basics even though I had already been blogging for a few months. You get to meet lots of other bloggers and can share tips and get feedback so it is¬†a¬†really worthwhile thing to do.
  • Read lots of other blogs! Don’t just stick to one genre. I follow all sorts of blogs, and have learned a lot from them as well as met some interesting people.
  • For me, when I am writing a post, I just write what I am thinking. I do not aim my posts at anyone in particular (this might not apply to you if you have a niche type blog) as I feel that if I am trying to impress someone then the post will look contrived and therefore defeat the object! My posts are, I’m afraid, the product of a disorganised mind!
  • Have fun! Join in with blogging parties and meet and greets. There are lots of lovely bloggers that host these and they are a great way to promote your own blog as well as find new ones to follow.

I hope some of these tips are helpful. Of course I am by no means an authority on blogging, but have told you what I have learned from my experience.
