A sister is a good friend
Who knows you very well
A sister is a confidante
To whom secrets you can tell
A sister is a shoulder
To cry on when youβre sad
A sister is a comfort
For when things turn out bad
A sister is a treasure
More precious than pure gold
A sister can be relied on
Whatever the future holds
A sister will support you
In all you say and so
A sister is a Godsend
And lucky me to have two!
Yes, sisters are pieces of yourself in different bodies. I have two and love them to bits

Love a large family! My own is little but our extended one is huge, so I never felt that it was just me and my brother! π

I only have a brother… But my bff is like a sister. Been my BFF for 45 years… Not related by blood… But then my kids are not blood related either, and they’re brother and sister.
Still, I have always wished I had a big sister . Lucky you to be twice blessed.

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
