Today I decided to have a go at something a little different and used the writing and photo prompt generator created by Jennifer Wells. It is great fun and the words I got were ‘grieving flower.’ I knew just what to write about, and here is my Haiku:
Very good, Judy!

Well I started with 3 but only that one survived, it was pretty though . It doesn’t matter if they are small as long as they thrive 🙂

It is sad when they start to wither. My sunflower has had better days, too. They were so beautiful this summer. 🙂

Hope you continue to use this prompt site and tell your blogging friends about it as well, Edwina. I hope your poor sunflower at least provided you with some tasty sunflower seeds and did not die in vain! http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/08/17/crowded-secret/

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
