I thought I would have a go at TJs Household Haiku Challenge this week as it seems a lot of fun.
Jumping on the scales
The figures climb rapidly
At my plump figure!

Love the haiku. We only recently bought new scales after having the same set for 12 years. The new ones added an extra 4 kilos! Oh the cruel injustice! I blame the manufacturers! :)Thanks so much for participating in the challenge.

I enjoyed the challenge, Those scales would not have lasted long if I had them! Adding an extra 4 kg is enough to get them chucked out of the window!!! 🙂

No one likes to see those numbers going up…hmm just a thought here, I am sure there are people who step on it and are happy to see the numbers go up. HMMM another great thought ..perhaps they could take mine. Love the poem.

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
