Oooh these challenges are getting more and more difficult as Ron gets meaner with the prompt words for his weekly Haiku Challenge. We have got ‘harp’ and ‘clear’ to contend with this week.

Something for all of us to look forward to, Judy. Just have to buy myself an ice scraper instead of using an old cassette tape box. I knew that box would come in handy, and so it has for many years now.

Thanks Hugh. I have to admit to being lazy and having a Mr Grump to scrape the windscreen for me! I get cross when I have to do it!! I love the idea of the old cassette box as a scraper. 🙂

They work a treat and I have lots of them still in the drawer with cassette tapes intact. I really do need to think about transferring them onto a CD but never seem to get around to doing it!

I have just changed my car for something a bit more suitable for my new job, and it has a CD and cassette player! I was actually quite excited about that, thinking I could get out my Five Star, and Depeche Mode cassettes to play again. Problem is, they are in the loft. Well , I hope they are)!

The way you wrote this is quite funny. Just have to add the right tone of voice. My goal is to still write a humorous haiku one day, but not with this prompt.

It adds another layer of challenge. Luckily, we don’t usually get a lot of snow. Last year was an exception. I just always worry about the animals–especially if it’s really cold.

The ‘who is going to budge scenario’– I can relate to that! And that frosty stuff is lurking… I had to turn on the car heater this morning as the windows were frozen shut😏 Nice use of the words!
