I do love a watch and have got several. I don’t feel dressed if I haven’t got a watch on and am forever looking at my bare wrist if I have forgotten to wear it! TJ has given us ‘watch’ as our prompt word today for his weekly household haiku challenge so I have featured my favourite one!
My blingy ‘gold’ watch
like ‘fur coat and no knickers’
and all that glitters….
Lovely. I have two watches, both need batteries, and I so seldom had been wearing them, that I often think I’ll save them for the girls…

Too late Can’t ask permission now, but who asks permission when she’s exploding with laughter?
Oops. Sorry. NOOO. I’m NOT! 😀 😀 😀
Wasn’t I supposed to?

That’s funny! Mine did, too. 😊 I guess once you get to a certain age you just say what you think. 🙂

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
