I’ve got no sense of direction
When driving, I haven’t a clue
If it wasn’t for good old Sat Nav
I really don’t know what I’d do!
If I go out of a building
From a different door, I went in
I totally lose all my bearings
And my poor old head starts to spin
It’s the same when I try giving directions
Even though I know where to go
Trying to explain it to others
Really is a no-go!
But somehow, I manage to wing it
And end up where I have to be
Even if I go round in circles
I get there eventually!
I have the same problem, Judy. I used to live on the Atlantic Ocean and my sense of direction was fabulous. I moved to the Pacific Ocean and I an totally turned around. I got lost in my own back woods. Or maybe I’m just getting old. 😀

HaHA! I hope things don’t get worse with age or I won’t stand a chance!

Ha,ha! I think I know someone like you and that’s my mother. Don’t ask her for directions. You’ll probably end up in Timbuktu 🙂

Oh gosh… Judy, I have no sense of direction whatsoever. I could get lost inside a paper bag.
Kudos for making a YouTube page to narrate your work. Cool. Hugs.

Hahaha! As long as you get there eventually, that’s all that matters. I’m pretty good at reading maps, I LOVE maps, but my general sense of direction sounds very similar to yours ?

I can actually map read too, but am just so useless at finding my way around places. Even at Uni which is the same one I attended for 2 years only a few years ago, I forget where things are, and sometimes wander around for a bit!

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
