Another bit of silliness for you,
There was an old vampire named Vlad
Who’s blood sucking fangs had gone bad
He used to be ruthless
But now he is toothless
And that makes him feel rather sad!
A ghost was stricken with fright
Whenever day turned to night
He found it quite daunting
When it was time to go haunting
He’d much rather stay out of sight!

Hilarious, Judy. A very enjoyable poem. I am still not getting email notifications from you. It is so irritating.

Grrrrr! It is irritating for me too, Robbie. I have had a load of problems with my blogs lately and I thought it was all now finally sorted out. I will try and find out what is going on. Thanks for letting me know 🙂

I know! Being gummy isn’t ideal for a vampire! 🙂

Ha ha! A vampire with no fangs is a bit like an undertaker with no bodies. Nothing to do! Poor chap he’d have to get some vampire dentures!

You’ve a talent for these… Are you considering being a pediatric nurse and helping the wee ones unleash their creativity to help them heal?

Thanks Annette. I chose to do adult nursing as I didn’t think I would be able to handle being a children’s nurse. I love your idea those of helping them to heal through creativity 🙂 ??

Well, us older folk can use the creative spin on healing, so sign me up to be on your ward (should that time ever come)

Fingers crossed you wouldn’t need to be on a ward , but what a laugh we would have if you were on mine! 🙂

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
