I do love a limerick and thought that after the success of some of my Halloween limericks, I would share some Christmas ones that I wrote, over the next few days. I hope that you enjoy them.
The wise men that came from afar
Lost sight of the Christmas star
They got hopelessly lost
And knew to their cost
That they should have had GPS in their car
Loved your Halloween ones and this was fun, too. 🙂 Hope there are more for the season!
Judy writes limericks all day
She makes poems for holidays
They’re great fun to read
And she doesn’t plead
But her poems just beg you to play
I loved this Sarah! What a lovely treat to have a limerick from you. Thank you 🙂
Thanks so much Sarah, yes, I have a few lined up! 🙂
Good to hear. 🙂
THanks Sis, I can certainly relate to them! 🙂
Hahaha, this made me laugh out loud, which is just what I needed on a wet, grey and blustery day 🙂
Yes it is a pretty grotty day today, and I am glad to have lightened it a little for you 🙂
So funny! So true!!
Glad you enjoyed it, there are more where that came from. 🙂
Please write one about the demise of the elf on the shelf! LOL!
I’ll see what I can do! 🙂
Keep your eyes peeled for tomorrow. 🙂
Oh I will! Thanks for the heads up!!
Haha, Judy, your wise men are just like me. I have two GPS’ in my car just in case one stops working.
I can turn around and get lost, it is something I seem to be very good at Robbie. I am glad you are similarly gifted! 🙂
Oh, I am, Judy. If I am distracted or anxious, I can get lost in my own house [grin].
Great post that I have included on my regular feature on Pain Pals “Monday Magic – Inspiring Christmas blogs for You!” You are so good at these, Claire
Thank you Claire, that is really lovely of you 🙂
Lol, so cute!! You have such a way with words, Judy!
Thanks so much Melinda, what a lovely compliment. Merry Christmas to you, too 🙂 ??
This is me!

Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
