I hope that you are enjoying my posts from Linda’s Just Jot it January as much as I am enjoying writing them.
Here is today’s prompt word.
Your prompt for January 18th, 2018, brought to you by the lovely Sandra, is “Revolt.” Use it any way you’d like in your post. And make sure you visit Sandra at her blog, “What Sandra Thinks” to read her post and say hi! Here’s her link: https://whatsandrathinks.com/
I think my body has had enough of being stressed and has decided to revolt. I started feeling a little grotty after my night-shift on Monday night, and have continued to feel progressively worse. I now have a barking cough that is so forceful, it almost makes me sick. Of course, I have a lovely sore throat and chest to accompany it too.
Sorry to hear that you are feeling so rough Sis. I am not surprised that your body is in revolt! You have worked so hard and beenso worried about your results. Try to relax recamp and get better ??
Thanks Sis. Yes, I have slept a lot today in between barking my head off! ??
Oh! dear, have you tried honey, lemon and hot water and at night add some whiskey!
No, I have only just been having Strepsils for my throat, I should try a bit of honey and lemon, The whiskey might knock me out I suppose too!!!
Yes mix with hot water, it really helps. ?
Thanks, Sis x
Feel better soon sis! ❤

Worn yourself out! Be kind to yourself this weekend. Feet up, warm mug, all that.

Rest, drink plenty of fluids, take your favorite analgesic, and feel better soon.

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
