‘I love it when someone’s laugh is funnier than the joke.’
Short and sweet, but oh so true. Laughter can be so infectious.

Oh, that is so right! A really stupic joke gets funny only because of someones laughter 😊

That might be why they used recorded laugh tracks on those older tv comedies. It is contagious. ☺ Great one liner.

I love it when you start laughing with someone and can’t stop, especially in church! 😉

Yes, I remember that happening with myself my mum and sister-in-law when we took the kids to Christingle one Christmas Eve, The organist kept hitting the duff notes and that set us off, We then went back later on for the Midnight Mass service and I think the organist had hit the sherry even more because she was all over the place, We were desperately trying not to laugh (even my mum who is very religious), but it just made us worse each time she got another bum note. We thought we would get kicked out (oh the shame)! 🙂

Oh, that’s a great memory! I think I would’ve been in stitches, too. I remember going to church with my grandmother during the summer. My cousin and I would sit together and something would always get us giggling. I can still see grandma giving us the evil eye. 😉

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
