I know I said I wouldn’t write any more but these have gone down so well, I just had to write another two, especially as it is Halloween today! These are about a skeleton and the Grim Reaper. You can check out the others, here, here and here if you missed them!
Kelly the Skelly was depressed
She’d lost some of the ribs in her chest
She moaned and she groaned
a stray dog stole her bones
And now she wasn’t looking her best.
The Grim Reaper’s scythe once so trusty
Had suddenly become very rusty
He couldn’t reap many souls
With a blade full of holes
And the edges all jagged and crusty!
Brilliant sis! Happy Halloween!
Thanks, Sis! Happy Halloween to you too 🙂
Nobody wants a crusty Grim Reaper – euwwwww! Thanks for the Limericks they are FUN!
I had such fun with them too, Daffy. I am so glad you enjoyed them too 🙂
Ha ha, I think these are the best today.
Thanks, I wrote those last night so that I would have something for today! 🙂
That is great, Judy. I can’t seem to like your answers on this site but I am reading them. Hugs.
Thanks Robbie, I probably forget to activate them, for some reason I now have to activate likes individually!
These are a riot! You’ve such talent and I am thrilled that you share. Imagine, if you kept all this genius to yourself…
You are too kind, Annette and I am blushing with the lovely compliments you give me. Thank you ??
We do not do enough to remind ourselves that what we do matters… so I am doing it for you! 🙂
Thank you, I appreciate it 🙂
This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
