One of the first things you do in the morning is to log on to see whether you have any comments or not.
You have the ‘WordPress’ App on every device you own and are not afraid to use it!
Even when at work, as soon as you have a break, you check your mobile phone for notifications.
Whenever something happens, especially if it is funny, you have to blog about it.
You have to put your mobile on ‘silent’ at night, because if you hear it vibrate you cannot rest until you have looked at it to see if it is a notification from WordPress.
Your family knows exactly where to find you…at your laptop blogging.
In conversation, you find yourself saying…”Oh yes, I read/heard about that on (insert blog name).”
You find yourself becoming interested in statistics for once in your life, just so you can figure out how many ‘hits’ you have had!
You lap up any information you can that gives hints and tips on becoming a better blogger!
And unbelievably only 3 months in, I can say yes to many of those! My family felt slightly motherless during the A to Z… as most of our conversations surrounded the alphabet, something at this stage in life they couldn’t believe… What should my E stand for? etc. etc.
No truer words have been said about the wonderful world of blogging. I just hope there is no clinic anywhere for blogging addiction. If there is then I may just be one of the first in there.

Ha! Yes I had similar conversations with my husband about which word to choose. It is surprising how quickly the addictions takes a hold of you! π

I’m guilty of every single one of those. Although I have relaxed quite a bit about it, even taking long breaks when I feel the need.

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
