We have had a bit of an Indian summer over here in the UK, and it is still pretty warm. In fact, Miss Hap and I went for a walk about an hour ago and came back roasting!
It is wonderful to see some roses in full bloom in the garden, and there are still some to follow.
I thought they deserved a Haiku in their honour.
October roses
beautiful and delicate
bring joy to my heart.
Beautiful pic and poem..we are enjoying sun right now too. Soaking it up

Because of where I am located we have some of the fewest sunny days in the states

That’s a real shame. We do not do too badly down here in the south-east of UK weatehrwise.

It is amazing how long roses are able to blossom. Also in my garden some roses still keep going. We have very warm and sunny weather for days and I think that helps a lot! Enjoy, Judy 😊

Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
