TJ has a wonderful ornate tap for his Household Haiku Challenge this week. Mine are bog standard and pretty boring!
Here is my take on the challenge anyway.
Cold water on tap
Just right for hot, sunny days
Let’s add some ice too!

Ha HA! I should talk about hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Does that make you feel warmer now? 🙂

I was waiting to read something as plain as dishwater, but surprisingly, it’s not. On a hot day , there’s nothing like a tall glass of cold water 😊

Very cool! 🙂 Unfortunately our need for cool drinks at the moment led us to forget a bottle of very nice French champagne that we put in the freezer to cool quickly and it exploded!

Oh, what a shame – and what a waste! ::-)

We were almost going to eat the “Champagne Sorbet” but were put off by the shards of glass throughout. Perhaps this is what is known as a “First world problem” – Man in anguish as French Champagne bottle explodes. 🙂 Hope you have a lovely Sunday.

I can imagine the glass was an added crunch to the sorbet you did not fancy! Have a wonderful weekend 🙂

This is me!
Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
