Today we have the combination of Linda’s Just Jot it January and One-Liner Wednesday. I am going to keep it pretty short and sweet.
When I got up, Mr Grump was just about ready to leave for work. He looked a bit peaky and was pretty quiet. I asked him if he was ok; he looked at me balefully and said,
“I’ve got it now!”
Enough said. That makes all three of us now as Miss Hap came down with this horrendous cold a few days ago, and it is still lingering around in me. It’s going to be a bundle of laughs in our sick house this week!

Oh no! get well soon sis!
My mum just got back from Finland last night,m full of cold, and my nephew had it, my brother did too and my sis in law was laid down with the Noro Virus!
Hoping we are all okay, Lil Princess was off for two days with a most horrendous chesty cough and temperature too!

Yes, it is s really nasty. I hope your family are all better now. I have had this since last Wednesday starting with a cough. then sneezes, then really high temp, now got the cough back, sore throat and sweating even more than normal! I have got an exam tomorrow and will be going to Canterbury for it as I am sick of being cooped up ill indoors in my PJ’s!

That sucks. I’ve been washing my hands like mad since Australian flu was mentioned. Guido thinks I’m turning into Howard Hughes. Get better soon. Oh and hubby.

Judy E Martin
Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I am Judy, in my (very) early fifties and decided that life definitely gets more interesting as it goes on! I am a wife and a mum and have just finished University as a Registered Nurse, after having worked as an Associate Practitioner in the NHS. I am also a poet and the author of my debut book, 'Rhymes of the Times.' I love to laugh, and I love rhyming words too, so I joined the two together, and my book was born. I am currently working on another book in the series also. I am a prolific blogger and enjoy writing funny stories, anecdotes, and anything really that takes my fancy.
